There are two committees under the Board of Supervisors of the Bank, namely the Supervision Committee and the Nomination Committee. The committees operate in accordance with the terms of reference set by the Board of Supervisors.
The main responsibilities of the Supervision Committee include: drafting a supervision plan for the Bank’s financial activities and implementing relevant supervision; supervising the Board of Directors to establish a sound business philosophy and value standards and to formulate development strategies that are in line with the Bank’s actual development strategy; and supervising and inspecting the Bank’s business decisions, risk management and internal control work.
The main responsibilities of the Nomination Committee include: drafting the selection and appointment criteria and procedures for supervisors; conducting preliminary reviews of the qualifications and conditions of supervisor candidates and making recommendations to the Board of Supervisors; supervising the selection and appointment procedures of directors; and comprehensively evaluating the performance of duties by directors, supervisors and senior management personnel and reporting to the Board of Supervisors.
